Cracking tempo looks assured with many of these capable of pushing on early. CANADA BAY (4) did well after having not much luck in a stronger field here near the end of January, when finishing sixth. She comes to hand quickly and is resuming at a much easier level, so with the right run, she is the one to beat. IMPULSIVITY (5) needed her last run 2 weeks ago, and with a lot less time between starts leading into this suitable assignment, she should be among the hardest to beat, especially with Jarrod Todd in the irons for the first time. LITTLE DITTY (6) ran a much better race at Tennant Creek 3 weeks ago and has won his only start on this circuit. Include in all combinations. LOCHLORIAN (1) is an ex-Victorian-trained gelding who will eventually want more ground than 1100m, but he is fresh and has shown up in tougher fields than this. Watch for him late. Each way value.
