Reasonable tempo with a few going forward, headed by Zouthur. JENCHICK BOOM (8) won an Ipswich 65 easily, and then was heavily backed at Toowoomba, and didn't finish it off. Prepared to forgive that, and Lang takes over from the apprentice. In the top barn, and this is winnable. ZOUTHUR (13) is back from the poly and is busting to win. He was narrowly beaten on turf at the Sunshine Coast two starts back, and can use the inside gate. The claim is handy, and the longer sprint won't bother. LIMERO (1) didn't enjoy the poly last time, but his turf form prior is solid enough for this contest. Maps for a soft run, and he gets another chance. BOOMROUX (16) was impressive breaking through for his maiden win at Ipswich last start and appears capable of taking that next step. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Jenchick Boom.
