Koseki should lead at a strong tempo. MEISHO SEIRO (2) finished fifth over 1400m at Kyoto when resuming last start as a well-back commodity, beaten only 1.2 lengths. Fitter so anticipating a better run this time. LUX COLOGNE (1) resumes from a spell of nine weeks. Looked close to a win before that break, finishing off with a minor placing over 1400m at this track. Good effort to kick-off last prep when in the money at this track over 1400m. Hard to beat if back in good order as anticipated. KOSEKI (4) wasn't far away on debut last start over 1200m at Niigata, finishing fourth and beaten 3 lengths. Expected to feature with improvement to come. ONIMARU (3) finished 5.5 lengths adrift in sixth when fresh from a layoff last start over 1200m at Fukushima. Was in the placings at his only other second-up run. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Sure to be thereabouts.
