Genuine tempo anticipated with good speed engaged.
RISING SPHERE (2) has been a quality performer for some time in this area and looks to be heading towards another win after finishing second in both of his runs this prep. He has the advantage of the pole position and is set to go one better. IDEAS MAN (1) has been freshened up since his last run at Alice Springs 9 weeks ago. He has a far better record on this circuit and can have a say in the finish here. Each way. FLYING ANNIE (7) led all the way and gripped on to a game win by a short-head here 4 weeks ago. She won't find this much harder, and is the one to peg back again. SHAKATTAK (5) is resuming from a spell and will give Gary Clarke a strong hand in the race as 1 of 4 starters. He usually wants more ground, but will be hitting the line strongly. Watch for him late. DAMO DAYZ (4) has changed stables after some mixed efforts in Queensland on their metro tracks. He is nicely placed in this, and is worth each-way consideration. SUGGESTED PLAY: Damo Dayz each way.
