Airswing should lead but there are a few other speedy types who can keep him honest. TWIGMAN (2) resumed in a 78 at Eagle Farm over a mile and did a good job, beaten 2L. He found an 85 at Doomben following a bit of a stretch, but will be better for it. He has an awkward barrier, but is a third-up winner well placed with a 2kg claim. AIRSWING (6) has been plainer in his last two, but missed a whisker at Ipswich prior. He's likely to control the race from the inside gate, and the blinkers are on again. KAREEM (3) came back to a mile and led and won a Beaudesert Open. That would have him in the mix. Stablemate HULKAMANIA (1) will find this easier than Doomben, and he brought a string of nice efforts to that on the Gold Coast poly. Needs a good ride, but the 2kg claim brings him into it. FRIEND IN NEED (7) peaks and is racing well enough to consider. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Twigman.
