Shuji Akaoka has been the pilot at his last two wins. Sure to play a big role. NIYODO SMILE (4) is close to a win after a string of minor placings, the latest when second over 1400m at this track when he was handy all the way. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. SATONO RUSH (3) produced a good run two starts back to finish second but disappointed last time when out of the placings at this track over 1400m. Has started two times at this course and distance and is yet to miss the placings. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. DAICHI VIVANT (1) turned in a decent effort last start to finish third over 1400m at this track. Nicely placed to find winning ways.
