Posted his best figure over 1000m, and is well placed in this contest. HARTSHORN (3) resumes and is proven fresh. He's good enough and owns a trial win at the track. Wiggins is reunited, and that's a decent push for his chances. LUCKY ROLLA (7) was narrowly beaten at Mareeba as favourite. This is tougher, but he has weight relief and can get into the finish. SPIRIT OF GIVING (4) also draws awkwardly, but he's worth thought, back in grade. He jumped a short-priced favourite here last time. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Chartwell.
