Litigation and Pomodoro's Jet to set a strong tempo, joined by Wild Intent pushing on. ON MY HONOUR (5) hails from the Glen Kotzen stable. He was not disgraced when fourth in the Grade 2 WSB Guineas last time. It must be noted that the form that race has since been franked. He should have no issues with the rise to 1800m and he should strip much fitter. If all goes according to plan in running, he may be the one to beat. ZEITZ (13) is better than his last start in the Grade 1 Cape Derby. He returns from a 15-week break, but did gallop on this course recently. He is a horse with class, and with luck from the widest draw, he should pose a threat. WILD INTENT (10) tried hard when second over 2450m in the Grade 1 SA Derby last time. He returns from a well-deserved 10-week break. If all went well with his travels, he should fight out the finish. POMODORO'S JET (1) is a winner of his last three starts, the latest of which was over 1400m at Turffontein. The cheekpieces have done wonders on this horse, and from pole position, he can go close again.
