Expecting a strong pace headed by Shadizi, Whinchat and Uzziah. WHINCHAT (2) tried to pinch the race from the outset from the wide gate when a tenacious on pace second over 1300m in the LR Luskin Star Stakes at Scone. Expected to hold that form and loves the rain affected going. GRAND IMPACT (4) went quickly through his grades last time in and needed the run first up when a plugging tenth over 1100m in the LR Ortensia Stakes at Scone. Maps well and worth thought. HEADLEY GRANGE (11) ticks plenty of boxes first up with winning rider back aboard. Two good trials should have him forward enough for this. DARK GLITTER (14) gets in light again and holding her form. SUGGESTED PLAY: Whinchat to take some catching.
