GOING:

HOLLYWOODBETS SHARKS GATECRASHER STAKES 1400m

Track: GOOD   Clear (Max: 26)

Certain to be a strong tempo with Vikings Revenge, Count Of Rouen and Tenjiku leading the charge. WHISPERING DEATH (8) followed up his maiden win with an equally impressive victory over 1600m at Turffontein. He returns from a well-deserved 10-week break, during which time he would have strengthened up. He looks to have class about him, and if taking to this course, he may find himself in the winner's enclosure again. MALMESBURY MISSILE (6) lost a length leaving the start in the Grade 3 Tote Godolphin Barb Stakes last time, but fought on gamely to finish third. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won a Grade 1 since. If jumping on terms, he should throw out a big challenge to the top choice. YIPPEE KIYAY (2) showed good speed when winning on debut over 1200m at Scottsville. He should have no issues with the rise to 1400m. He could be anything, and if not too green around the turn, he can go close. TENJIKU (1) is a winner of his last two starts, the latest of which was over 1500m on the Vaal Classic course. Go again.
