Has a solid record here at the distance with three wins and three placings from eight tries. Best form puts him right in this. LUAR (2) pushed forward last time and boxed on to finish 3 lengths away in third over 1300m at this track. Drawn to take a nice trail just off the speed. Must raise the bar but another big run will not surprise. MOZU PURSUIT (7) showed good early speed when resuming last start before fading to finish eighth over 1400m at this track. Has a strong record here, including five wins. Winning claims on best figures. MATTINA (9) turned in a much better effort last time out to score by 1.5 lengths over 1300m at this track. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run.
