Pace only fair with The Good Harv rolling to the lead ahead of Granite Rock and Schnoots. GRANITE ROCK (5) made an encouraging debut for his new stable here a fortnight ago when finishing third. He is suited to racing in country-class company, and he should pick up his first win at short notice. GRONAR (1) is a stablemate of the second pick who was out of the money fresh up in his first start since relocating from Victoria. The blinkers are off, and he is open to improvement in a modest field. FAST JOHN (2) ran a much better race for second here last time out and should not continue to improve with more racing. Each way value. CABLE GIRL (9) is making her debut from a new stable fresh up and will find this easier than what she had been facing last year. She will be a lot stronger, and if she doesn't need the run, then she can provide some value for any multiple wagers. SUGGESTED PLAY: Granite Rock to win.
