Genuine pace headed by Saffron Hero from his wide alley. HERMODR (12) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest coming when third over 1400m at Kyoto Dirt. Finding the line with great purpose and looks certain to play a pivotal role. PROMISING STAR (10) was well fancied when resuming last start and proved too strong, scoring by 2.5 lengths over 1400m at Kyoto Dirt. Fitter for that last hit-out and is among the leading chances. HIRUNO DE GAULLE (9) is back from a break of 11 weeks. Scored back-to-back wins before running below his best at the last run of the prep, finishing fourth over 1400m at Hanshin Dirt. Shapes as one to consider. PEPTIDE TIGER (16) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing fifth at this track over 1400m after being prominent at the bend. Solid each-way hope.
