Genuine tempo with Sir Goldalot leading the way.
SIR GOLDALOT (1) was bloused on the line fresh up when finishing second by a short-head on this track and then set the record straight by leading all the way to score comfortably by over a length here last week. He has a lot more in store and can repeat the dose. EXTOL (2) won by a nose fresh up and then was third over 1300m here 2 weeks ago. The extra 325m is ideal third up, and he will be hitting the line strongly again. PROPOSE (6) just battled after missing the kick at Ipswich last week and has the benefit of a 3kg claim this time. There will be no excuses with her fitness, and she is better than her form suggests. Each way value. GALAXY SUNSET (3) made the most of a tactic change when leading all the way to score on the Sunshine Coast poly track nearly 3 weeks ago. He is likely to push forward again from a wide gate, and if he can find the front, he will take some pegging back. ROYAL GLADIATOR (9) has found some form again at Rockhampton, and won't mind the step up to a mile. SUGGESTED PLAY: Sir Goldalot and Extol in a quinella.
