Has a fine winning strike-rate over this journey with three wins from three starts. Has a high cruising speed. Leading contender. SMILE VIVANT (6) had been rock-solid with two placings in a row before finishing seventh over 1400m at this track last start. Has never been out of the money in four starts here at this trip, including a win. One of the main chances. FINAL SWORD (10) turned in another moderate effort last start when 12 lengths from the winner in fifth over 1400m at this track. No surprise to see him in the frame.
