Not much early speed of note and Yoshio Drive and A Shin Dueler may find themselves setting a steady tempo. LUPUS TESORO (5) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing fourth and beaten only 1.2 lengths over 1300m at this track after being in the firing line on the bend. Has the class to take this out. A SHIN DUELER (4) turned in a modest performance when fourth last time out over 1750m at this track, beaten 5 lengths. That followed a win at this track at the previous outing. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot make amends. KITASAN DRIVER (6) finished sixth, beaten 3.5 lengths, last time out over 1300m at this track. Has a strong record this course, scoring at 10 of 20 starts. One of the leading contenders. YOSHIO DRIVE (3) missed the frame last time when fourth at this track. Prior to that had been in the money on two consecutive occasions. Reunites with Takuto Demizu who has two wins when on board. Deserves respect.
