Redwood Ransom to go to the lead at a genuine tempo. REDWOOD RANSOM (1) has been trying to win a race for a long time, and this 9-year-old veteran nearly stole it off the front at Dongara 4 weeks ago but had to settle for another minor placing, finishing second. He has the blinkers off again, and he has been placed in both of his starts on this track. Each-way claims from a handy gate. LOONA DAWN (11) is a consistent filly who has raced her way into her best form. She has more upside than most in this and should not be in this class for much longer. LE TROY (2) did not do much during a spring campaign and has since changed stables. She has a recent trial under her belt and will find the company in this area more to her liking. Each-way value. PRIZED BENEFIT (9) ran a much better race when finishing third at Geraldton nearly a fortnight ago. She made up a lot of ground that day and is now poised third up to figure in the finish again.
