The Coolakin King should lead at a strong tempo. THE COOLAKIN KING (2) was run down late in a stronger field at Albany last start and finished third. He is down in class and is nicely weighted after a 3kg claim. Drawing in the pole position makes him the one to beat here. SOUTHERN SCANDAL (3) found himself in front at Geraldton last start and after going a kick on the turn, he was run down inside the distance to finish fourth. He has a better draw this time and is probably suited by taking a sit just off the pace. Stick with him. IRONCLAD BOY (1) has not run a poor race for some time and has been in the money in his last couple of starts at Geraldton. He slides down slightly in class and is making his local debut for a new trainer. Each-way. RAGING BEAUTY (5) tends to get too far back early on and will need a genuine tempo to show his best. Include in all combinations. ORTUM KRISP (4) needed her fresh up run at Dongara and has won second up in the past. She has been placed in 4 of her 6 starts here. Include in all multiples.
