Wasn't far away at last run before a break, finishing fifth over 2000m at Fukushima 12 weeks ago. Both career wins have been here and drawn for a soft run. Expected to prove hard to beat. GERBEROY (8) was a dominant winner last time over 1800m at Sapporo, getting home by 2 lengths. Is going well this campaign, recording a win and two minor placings from four starts. Has to be respected. AIR BIG MOM (5) pushed forward last time and boxed on to finish third over 2000m at Chukyo. Commendable record at this trip with a win and four minor placings and should play a big role.
