Genuine tempo with Akatoa and Imperial Royale pressing for the lead. MILLE FEUILLE (11) lightly raced filly who ran fourth to Bangkok Hottie in her first campaign. Savaged the line second up when third over 1000m at Hawkesbury. Ready for this trip and looks too strong for this average bunch. IMPERIAL ROYALE (10) drifted in betting on debut with a tiring sixth over 1000m at Hawkesbury. Should come on for this and shapes as the main danger. KISS OF GOLD (1) comes here with a fitness edge over most of these and placed in provincial class this time in. Went back from the wide gate and made up many lengths late to secure fourth over 1200m at Tuncurry. Will hold a forward position from the rails draw and has solid each way claims. AKATOA (7) showed good speed on debut and turned in a respectable effort to run fourth over 1000m at Hawkesbury. Fitter now but must overcome the wide gate. Place only. SUGGESTED PLAY: Mille Feuille can stamp her class today.
