Brucey should find the front with Azzucca and Defiance on his heels. BRUCEY (2) kicked off the campaign with a sharp win two runs back, then jumped in trip in a fairly strong contest with a tiring fifth over 1400m at Goulburn. That form has since been franked and can return to winning form today. DEFIANCE (1) first run for the new yard he demolished a fairly average Maiden field with a 4-len win over 1000m at Canberra. Stretches out to this trip for the first time and sure to be thereabouts. LADY GOT BLING (8) consistent mare fifth up for this and has each way prospects from the wide gate. Found the line nicely when second over 1210m at Moruya. Has a strong record with Keagan Latham in the irons. AZZUCCA (9) third up for this and worth thought after her good second at Queanbeyan. SUGGESTED PLAY: Brucey looks to get the right set-up here.
