A solid tempo is on the cards with Urbanise and Flying Shelby pushing for the lead ahead of Coastal Whispers and Elsie Girl.
ON THE MAP (10) finished fourth as the favourite at this level at Bordertown 9 days ago after settling back in the field early on. She will be hoping for a more genuine tempo in this, and with the right tow into the race around the dog-leg home straight, she can have the last say. COASTAL WHISPERS (4) has been freshened up since a last start dismal effort at Coleraine in July, and a recent decent jump-out suggests that she is back on track. Stick with her at some each-way value. SANIKA (2) was thereabouts last season, and he will be a lot stronger this time in work. A good draw is an assist, and he can have a say in the outcome of this race. BLACK BUGATTI (8) ran on late over 1200m off a freshen up at Strathalbyn 3 weeks ago, and with the extra 350m suiting him, he can't be left out of any combos.
