GOING: H(10)

KEVIN COYLE MEMORIAL 1800m

Track: HEAVY 10     Out 2m

Vamos to find the front in the small field. FLASH ROCA (1) has been racing recently in stronger fields at Riccarton, and will appreciate facing more suitable opposition in a smaller field. She won't have it all her own way, but she is the one to beat. PROUDTOBEHERE (5) dug deep when beating a similar small field at Wingatui just over 2 weeks ago at BM75 level, and she won't find this much harder. A 3kg claim will drop her weight below the minimum, and she can repeat the dose. SIGHT TO SEE (3) fought on gamely to finish runner-up behind the second pick when resuming as the favourite in the same race. She is likely to settle behind the pace from the pole position, and has a great chance to go one better. VAMOS (2) battled away fairly for fourth last start when probably half-a-run short. He has less time between starts here, and can take this out with a peak effort. TARAMEA LAD (4) is back from Riccarton company, and he has shown in the past, that he will be very competitive in a field like this. SUGGESTED PLAY: Flash Roca on top, but any one of the 5 can win this.
