Not much early pressure but Grinzinger Lass, Magarten and Princess Pancakes can take up forward spots. Another race where the Petrick yard could dominate. BAHAMA BAY (1) has been in top form, winning this course and distance two back then again when back in trip here last time. Out to 1400m again and drops nicely in the weights. Hard to hold out. Stablemate MAGARTEN (5) is a former Victorian who has covered plenty of territory up north but having first start on home track now. Best figures stack up and should run well. FLYING START (2) has put together back-to-back placings after scoring three back at this track, most recently beaten one length into second after he got a long way back in the run. Hard to hold out. MATRON SAMSING (3) drifted back from the inside draw last start then attacked the line for a big win at Kununurra over 1350m. Will be running on hard with the light weight. PRINCESS PANCAKES (4) wasn't far off the winner latest and looks a genuine hope. SUGGESTED PLAY: Stick with Bahama Bay.
