Genuine tempo with Scandoval and Colour Circle leading the way. DANE ON TOUR (10) made the most of a positive ride when turning her form around with a bold effort for second at Kilmore last week, and with Craig Newitt keeping the ride, she is likely to be ridden in the same manner here. She has a superior gate, and can get the job done this time. NEW YORK SCANDAL (11) was outclassed at Sandown-Hillside last time out, and is much better placed at this level. She gets back in her races so the wide draw is no problem, and a form reversal would be no surprise. COLOUR CIRCLE (2) was an overdue maiden winner at Echuca in his penultimate start, and then had a tough trip from a wide gate in BM62 company at Geelong just over 5 weeks ago. He is worth another chance in this. SCANDOVAL (4) has improved in each of his runs back from a spell, and he has won third up in the past. A good draw will put him right in the finish here. Include in all top 4 combos. PRESERVATOR (6) has been thereabouts through the winter, and he is capable winning this at odds. SUGGESTED PLAY: Dane On Tour can win.
