GOING: H(10)

ADVANCE AGRICULTURE 1100m

Track: HEAVY 10     Out 2m

Small field in which Megalomaniac can find the front comfortably at a moderate tempo. SIR STERLING (1) suffered from a cardiac arrhythmia in the Winter Cup at Riccarton just over 7 weeks ago after some top form prior. He might be suspect over 1100m, but the field is small, and his class should take him close to winning this. On top for us. HELLO HAYLEY (3) was good enough to win the Dunedin Guineas as a 3YO last season, and then after some fair efforts in hot fields at Riccarton she was put aside for a well earned spell. This trip is short of her best, but like the top pick, her class makes her very hard to beat. INDUSTRIALIST (4) resumes from a spell, and he has won over this trip in the past. He will have to be at his best to roll the top 2 picks, but he will still be competitive. MEGALOMANIAC (2) was a tough winner by a neck at Wingatui last start, but he seldom puts 2 good runs together. He can fight out third and fourth here. LADY DIVA (5) resumes from a spell and is making up the numbers only. SUGGESTED PLAY: Quinella of the day will be Sir Sterling, and Hello Hayley.
