Lendanear should have enough pace to lead a low-pressure contest. KELORA (3) is a tough veteran who has not won for some time, but he will notice the drop in class here after finishing close up in town last time out when finishing fourth. A wide gate is no help, but with Chris Parnham doing the steering, he has a great chance to break his drought. SCOTTISH LAIRD (1) resumes from a spell, and he usually takes a run to hit his straps, but he has a terrific record here, and has won 3 times over the trip, so keep him very safe in all combos. LENDANEAR (13) was an easy winner in lesser company here a fortnight ago, and he will drop 3kg from that effort with a rise in grade here. Stick with him on an each-way basis. JAYASHREE (7) has had some gear changes since his last start here 6 weeks ago, and he drops back sharply in trip. Brad Parnham picks up the ride, and the pair merit healthy respect. IDEALLY (6) has been racing consistently through a winter campaign, and is reunited with Lucy Fiore who knows her well. Include her in all top 4 combos. SUGGESTED PLAY: Kelora can win this.
