MIDNIGHT STAR (2) resumes from a spell for the first time from the Peter Fernie stable, after showing plenty of talent in town last season. This is the right level for her fresh, and having Chris Parnham in the saddle is a strong lead. Hard to beat. BLOOD BROTHER (1) ended his last prep in the Listed Aquanita Stakes, and has won a couple of races on this track last season. He is back with his original trainer, and despite no public trials, he will be ready to run a big race. Watch for him late. WHATYOUTALKINBOUT (4) is a speedy gelding who is also resuming from a spell, and he is good enough to overcome a wide draw, and play a part in the finish of this race. Include in all top combs to be safe. SLIPPERY FISH (5) has had a disappointing time of it over a winter campaign, and she would love a genuine good track. If she gets conditions to suit, then she can figure in the top 4, despite copping a wide draw.
