Genuine tempo from Science Degree leading On Just Terms. ALTAR BOY (4) has been a terrific performer in the Northern Territory, and brought that form to this State when winning fresh up here 2 weeks ago by a head at some great value. He is good enough to repeat the dose, but don't expect another fancy price. DONT WAIT FOR LUCK (1) looks hard to beat after charging home from well back to win over 1200m here last time. His record at this track is very strong, and with only half a kilo more to carry, he should go close again. SCIENCE DEGREE (5) produced a big effort last start when leading the way over 1300m and fighting right to the line for a narrow defeat behind the top pick. He always tries his best and will again be tough to peg back. CLOSE AT HAND (2) has been running on after settling back in his recent races, and he is crying out for a good surface. Keep him very safe with conditions to suit. DEBONNAIRE (6) was a close third over 1300m behind the top pick in the same race, and has to be respected again. SUGGESTED PLAY: Altar Boy can win again.
