Good early pressure with Miss Harley Quinn or Ripa Time likely to take up the running. RIPA TIME (4) has plenty of talent, and resumed with a tough win by over half a length as the favourite at Wingatui 16 days ago. She would have naturally improved off that effort, so we put her on top again. HAMMER (1) looks to be another very promising type from the Robert Dennis stable after he put away a maiden field very easily at Oamaru on debut just over 5 weeks ago. He maps to settle a touch closer this time from a superior gate, and he may just be too good again, if the gaps open up at the right time. LITTERAL (3) has probably been disappointing to be fair since relocating to the South Island, but she won't lack fitness, and is worth one more chance. MURCH (9) has also been racing below expectations since joining the Robert Dennis stable from the North Island. Dropping back to 1200m is the key, and a form reversal would not be any surprise. AZILEE STAR (2) tackled some good fields late in her 3YO season, and she resumes at an easier level. Keep her safe in all top 4 combos. SUGGESTED PLAY: Ripa Time can win again, and Hammer is also worth including in a handy field.
