Expecting a strong tempo with Jot Down, My Girl Alice and Flying Julz going forward ahead of Stuck On You and Chari. FLYING JULZ (3) was less than a length from the winner on debut when finishing third at Riverton in May, and she would have matured since then. This area of the South Island hosts unrecorded jump-outs, so a lot of those resuming would have been thoroughly prepared for their returns. This mare won't have to improve by much to win a race like this. MY GIRL ALICE (2) resumes from a spell, and she showed enough last season to say she can pick up a maiden win at short notice. SHES SO FLASH (4) will have a fitness edge over some of her main rivals, and her last start third was good enough for her to be a top 4 threat again. WISE DANCER (8) made her debut as a juvenile in the Champagne Stakes at Riccarton in early May. She hails from the Robert Dennis yard, and will be ready to rumble fresh up. FAULT LINE (9) makes her debut, and will not have to be a star to figure in the top 4 in this sort of field. Follow any market confidence.
