DIWALI (2) has been out of form in 3 runs back from a spell, but the Gavin Bedggood stable is very rarely at meetings on this course, so to be here, the yard must be very confident to trek all this way with this gelding, and that is enough for us to put him on top. FARAG (1) is an out and out stayer on his way to the Jericho. He is nearing full fitness, and a form reversal is on the cards. HEMI TWO BARRELL (3) won his third career start last time out at Geelong over 2470m, and he will stay all day. He rises sharply in class, but will drop 5.5kg, so stick with him. OCTAHEDRON (6) has been racing consistently through the winter months, and won't lack fitness. He is adept on any type of track conditions, and can figure in the top 3 again. THREE REEL ROSES (7) is a very dour staying type like may in this, and she should relish the extra 800m on offer here. She is on the minimum weight, and is worth including in all top 4 combos. SUGGESTED PLAY: Diwali can win this.
