ASCENDIA (3) showed good early speed then led into the straight when fresh from a spell last start before fighting on to finish second, beaten a head, over 820m at this track. Well-placed and is going to prove tough to run down. YAKUMO DREAM (4) was never in contention when 56 lengths from the winner in tenth over 1400m here last start, a less impressive effort than her eighth at this circuit the run before. Anticipating a better run this time. ASAKA LOVE LOVE (5) last appeared when she finished sixth over 820m at this course on May 27. Among the better hopes. RYUNO HINAKO (8) was out of the money two runs back then just missed the frame last start over 1230m at this venue, beaten 6 lengths into fifth. Better than recent efforts suggest and is worth another chance.
