Off the low draw Masse D'amour can take it up a race lacking a genuine leader. ERIN FLAME (1) was a gutsy winner last time over 1500m at this track, scoring by one length to make it two wins in succession. Ryo Novata has been the pilot at her last two wins. Well placed and should be in the finish. A SHIN CARROTS (6) drifted back from his wide draw last start then hit the line hard to grab third at Funabashi over 1200m. Sure to prove tough to stop. NON STANDARD (13) didn't fire over 1800m at Funabashi last time out when in the market. That followed a good third the run prior. Has her share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. SHIGERU OTOKOGI (11) is back at the races for the first time since November 18. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last time in work over 1500m at this track. Worth plenty of thought.
