Plenty of speed with Civil Guard, Masticare and Tsukino Kobune leading Ryusei Kotei and Kasanaru Kiseki. KURIKO FALCON (6) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a spell on June 27, finishing sixth and beaten 3.5 lengths over 1000m at Kokura Dirt. Rates highly and should take some beating. RYUSEI KOTEI (7) is a nine-start maiden who finished eighth, beaten 6 lengths, when resuming from a spell last start over 1000m at Niigata. Will take a lot from that hit-out and looks a strong chance to break through. TSUKINO KOBUNE (5) won his maiden three starts back and is nearing another victory with placings at his last two runs, most recently when second over 1580m at this track. Commendable record at this trip with a win and three minor placings and is one of the prime contenders. MASTICARE (1) returned from a spell a month ago when she was prominent at the corner before being beaten 10 lengths into 18th over 1400m at Chukyo. Fitter so expect a better run this time.
