Slick pace with Sequel finding the front but it won't be a picnic with a few other speedy types engaged. VANESSI (9) has a handy record over this distance range with a win and six placings from 12 attempts and will be cherry-ripe now third run back from the spell. Maloney sticks in the saddle following that last-start placing and should play a major role in the finish. YOWERI (4) has hit a purple patch of late with three wins and two placings from his past five outings and gets a bunch of weight relief with the 3kg claim. Saves his best for this trip and can continue the rich vein of form. SEQUEL (8) was a dominant six length winner at Beaudesert last time out and will have taken a stack of confidence from that victory. Include from the inside marble. ANDI DON'T CARE (10) loves this course and distance with a win and two seconds from just three attempts. Sure to give backers a sight. SUGGESTED PLAY: Boxed Trifecta 9,4,8,10.
