KASAMATSU   11 Sep 2026

GOING:

Race 4 1400m

Track:

Expecting Festive Free to take up the running with Memory Film and Go Dancing close at hand. SHIBANO TEN TEN (4) appeals as the runner with the most reliable winning profile, having improved from a closing fourth to a well-supported second here, beaten two lengths after being run down late. GO DANCING (6) is the main on-speed danger, with a close second two back and a perfect place record from three runs at the Kasamatsu 1400m. FESTIVE FREE (7) should press forward and gets his chance to control the race, though he still has to show a sharper turn of foot after being beaten five lengths last start. REAL KAISER (1) maps to be saved up from midfield and is a genuine place player given his repeated track-and-distance placings, while GREAT GENES (10) can run on if the leaders overdo it. The tempo should be honest which gives Shibano Ten Ten the right set-up to finish over them if she repeats her latest effort.

CLUB RUN FOR THE ROSES
Continues to hold his form, but the winning edge remains the issue. Finished third in a 3yo+ C3 over 1580m at Kasamatsu last start, beaten seven lengths by Curren Iverson after racing handy and failing to quicken. He had also been third over the same trip behind Espoir Droit, beaten three lengths. Seven placings from nine starts at this track and distance keep him in the minor-money mix, rather than as a horse to trust for the win.

Battled on fairly when fourth at Kasamatsu last start, beaten just over four lengths by Miraculum after being near the top of betting. The run prior was a second over 1580m, but he was beaten five lengths as favourite behind Cosmo Finesse. A prior track-and-distance win and a sound jockey record are positives, yet he needs to find more authority late.

Placed last start in a 3yo+ C1 at Kasamatsu, beaten two and a half lengths by Krichashchii, but the run was more honest than threatening as she only battled on. Two back she was odds-on and beaten five lengths by Rhein Strahl after again failing to quicken. With no wins from 30 starts and a recent defeat by Shibano Ten Ten, she needs a clear lift to trouble the stronger hopes.

Raised the level second-up when runner-up in a 3yo+ C1 at Kasamatsu, beaten two lengths by Krichashchii after being well-supported favourite and only collared late. That followed a fourth behind Autumn Memory where she made up good ground, so the campaign is trending the right way. A Kasamatsu 1400m winner and now third-up, she has the right profile to take another step.

Has put two seconds together, but both margins temper the enthusiasm. She was runner-up in a 3yo+ C1 at Kasamatsu last start, beaten five lengths by Construction after tiring late, and had earlier been beaten six lengths by Beat Umazammai when well found at longer odds. Her track-and-distance record gives some support, but the recent finishing strength needs to improve.

Rarely runs poorly and again placed in a 3yo+ C3 at Kasamatsu last start, finishing third behind Hiogi after racing handy but tiring late. Her previous second behind Baleo Ria carried more merit, beaten only half a length after tracking the speed and lengthening nicely. Placed in all three runs at this track and distance, she maps well enough to be a serious winning chance.

Returns after a one-month freshening having run second in a 3yo+ C1 at Kasamatsu, beaten five lengths by Caramel Song after failing to quicken when near the top of betting. The previous third was also well held, beaten ten lengths by Beat Umazammai, but his on-speed pattern gives him a tactical advantage here. If he controls the race rather than being softened up, he remains a genuine winning hope.

Caught the eye late at generous odds when fourth in a 3yo+ C9 at Kasamatsu last start, beaten two and a half lengths by T O Lyra after having plenty to do from back in the field. The concern is the run prior, when seventh over 1580m and beaten over 11 lengths after settling handy and not quickening. There is a small improvement angle, but she needs to back it up.

Has gone the wrong way at her past two, finishing last in a 3yo+ C1 at Kasamatsu last start when beaten over 19 lengths by Sembi Toryo and offering little late. She was also eighth behind Bijin Hakumei two back, beaten over 18 lengths after failing to make headway. Two wins at this track and distance are noted, but recent form gives little confidence.

Improved from big odds two back to finish third over 1580m at Kasamatsu last start, beaten two and a half lengths by All My Time after settling rearward. The previous sixth behind Pep Talk was only fair, so he is still looking for consistency. Dropping back to the winning distance is a plus, though barrier 10 and a likely rearward position mean he will need the race run to suit.
