Solid tempo anticipated with Star Martini heading them off. STAR MARTINI (4) was run down late when resuming here in late July and then was too slick with an end-to-end win at Northam last time out. She cops more weight up in class but looks to have the scope to make further progress this season. On top again. SUPERSMASH (5) was a tough winner at Northam 6 days ago, and if she can cope with a 6-day turnaround, then she can take the next step immediately. MON VISAGE (7) made an encouraging debut when finishing third here 2 weeks ago, and despite dropping back to 1000m, she can figure in the top 3 again. KUTE AS KAN BE (9) has run the odd good race, and with the aid of a 3kg claim, he should be kept safe in all combinations. SUGGESTED PLAY: Star Martini to win again.
