LINO LUANA (7) goes on top in a race where the exposed form is modest but his latest Chukyo effort reads best: tenth over 1600m, beaten three and a half lengths, after settling a long way back and still finishing off better than most. VENERABLE (2) is the main threat, helped by barrier 2 and a strong local jockey-trainer profile, though she must improve on being swamped after leading at Chukyo and she was behind Lino Luana there. INDY QUEEN (4) is harder to trust off two heavy defeats, but class relief and a midfield map keep her in the winning conversation if she can find a sharper finish. IBARAHIME (5) and LIBERTA ALA (6) look more like place players; both drop back from longer trips and need to improve on recent margins.

Returns from a three-month break after finishing 11th in a 3yo Maiden over 2400m at Hanshin, beaten over 15 lengths after sitting close enough and dropping out sharply. The Kyoto run prior was similar, 12th over 2400m and unwanted in the market behind Sea To Summit. Class relief is the only clear positive, but she needs to show far more at 1400m. |

Back after five weeks following a last finish in a 3yo Maiden over 1600m at Chukyo, where she led narrowly before being swamped and was beaten just under six lengths by Rainbow State. Her previous eighth at Kokura was only just over four lengths from Levi, despite starting at long odds. The class drop, race fitness, barrier 2 and strong local jockey-trainer profile give her a sound platform if she finishes the race off. |

Third-up and class relief are small positives, but the form leaves him with a lot to repair. |

The recent form is thin, but she is race fit, drawn to settle midfield and meets a race where any lift puts her firmly in the winning mix. |

Class relief and a leading jockey help, but she profiles more as a place hope than a clear winner. |

She is unplaced in four starts and the drop to 1400m is a query, but this class relief gives her some minor-money claims. |

YUYA GOTO 3YO CHESTNUT COLT 57.0KG Akihiro Imamura Resumes off a five-week freshening after a better run than the finishing position suggests at Chukyo, finishing tenth in a 3yo Maiden over 1600m but only beaten three and a half lengths after getting a long way back. That also had him ahead of Venerable, while the Hanshin Dirt run prior over 1800m was much less convincing. The class drop suits, and if he settles close enough from barrier 7 he sets the standard. |
