Semra to find the front in the small field. FIAMMA (11) finished just over a length from the winner in fifth place at Te Rapa on debut, and with the natural improvement that is expected second up, she will be right in the finish here. SEMRA (9) had her last run in G3 company at Ruakaka, and she will be peaking at the right time for this. Stick with her for all top 4 combos. ARRAZOLA (2) made up late ground as the favourite when resuming here nearly 4 weeks ago. She strips fitter, and can take this out. ELLENDALE (12) makes her debut with plenty of trial experience under her belt. Michael McNab in the irons is a positive lead, and despite a tricky gate, she is sure to be well found in the markets. CARD SHARK (5) makes her debut as a 4YO mare off the back of a trial win, and with the aid of the coveted pole position, she should be ready to rumble. SUGGESTED PLAY: Arrazola each way.
