Solid tempo with several going forward headed by Eye Leads. T'S A LIGHT (12) finished third two runs back at Monbetsu then improved last time out to score by one length as favourite over 1600m at Monbetsu. It doesn't get any easier but on current form he is capable of another big performance. ORIKO EL DORADO (4) met with solid support last start over 2000m at this track when second, beaten 4 lengths. Norifumi Mikamoto sticks. Leading contender. MARRON SOLEIL (5) finished second two runs back at Monbetsu then improved last time out to score by one length over 1800m at Monbetsu. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he is good enough to play a major role. EYE LEADS (3) has been kept fresh since finishing fourth over 2000m at this track six weeks ago. Was a determined winner two runs back. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. One of the better hopes.
