In the small field Didactic and It's A Solid Deel are expected to take up the running. DIDACTIC (3) had the blinkers on for the first time and ran a much better race when finishing second here last week. The extra 400m is ideal, and he won't have to improve by much to go one better in this. WINSTON'S PRIDE (7) has been running on late in most of his races and did so again here last week when finishing third. She tries a middle distance for the first time and can get the job done. IT'S A SOLID DEEL (4) will bring some sound Port Augusta form to this and should not find this assignment much harder. Stick with him on an each-way basis. SON OF VADAMOS (6) finished third 4-days ago at Mildura and cops a decent gate here. If he backs up, then he is worth including in all top 4 combos. ARES FLIGHT (1) needs to improve but can do so in this contest. SUGGESTED PLAY: Didactic can win this.
