Expecting a genuine tempo with Monix setting the tone from an outside draw, joined by Lychee Green Tea. They've set us a task early with the raced brigade here hardly setting the world on fire and none of the debutants creaking 'back me' from the jumpouts. CLIFFS HANGER (8) won his most recent jumpout, which was an improvement on recent efforts, so he looks ready to go in a winnable debut option. LYCHEE GREEN TEA (12) has only had the five starts, a couple of which were good efforts including the last outing at Echuca when beaten only three lengths. TRUE TEST (5) has failed to fire at the races but has shown a level or talent at the trials, so might pay to give another chance. SUPER STEVEN (11) as placed at last two jumpouts and draws to get a chance. SUGGESTED PLAY: Boxed Quinella 8,12,5,11.
