EIGHT BEAT LETTER (2) raced on the speed and lifted to score by 1.5 lengths at today's track and distance when resuming from a layoff last time out. Has her share of ability. Hard to beat again in this suitable race. MEISHO KOSHI (4) was unwanted in betting last time but scored by half a length over 900m at this track. Masaya Matsudo who has three wins when partnering stays on. Should be in the finish. RED ROMULUS (8) has not won for a long while. Last raced on March 29 when beaten 6 lengths into sixth at this track over 1400m. Nicely placed to break the run of outs. TENKU FLOWER (3) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1400m at this track, beaten 4.5 lengths after being in contention on the corner. Fitter this time will prove harder to beat.
