Blue Meteor should lead but there are a few other speedy types who can keep him honest. JOKER (11) is back after a break of ten weeks. Went close to a maiden win before the layoff, finishing second at his latest appearance over 1700m at Kokura Dirt. Good effort to launch last prep when in the money at Hanshin Dirt over 1400m. Has ability and can get off the mark. ADELPHI (9) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 3.5 lengths when fifth in a 1800m contest at Chukyo Dirt three weeks ago. Finds a nice race and can figure in the finish. ISA CHIL SEEKING (6) is a two-start maiden who finished fifth, beaten 8 lengths, when resuming from a spell last start over 1800m at Nakayama Dirt. Definite top-three hope with plenty of improvement to come. BLUE METEOR (15) closed last prep nine weeks ago when he finished 15th over 1700m at Kokura Dirt. Sure to be competitive.
