GOING: S(5)

Winning Edge Presentations 2YO & Upwards Maiden 1200m

Track: GOOD 4   Rain (Max: 8)   Rail: +4m Entire. (Pent: 4.47)

Tricky one to map with a number of first starters but over this trip there is good speed anticipated. CAN'T CATCH CHILLI (6) resumes and has been unlucky not to have broken through. Has two trials under the saddle and is well placed at best. She will be naturally improved and gets her chance. RAIDER'S OWN (2) finished third at Launceston two runs back and then disappointed there following. He's better than that and peaks for this. A much better effort is likely. QUEEN OF RAP (7) debuts and has trialled well. Has the inside gate and a 3kg claim, and boost her chances if decent money comes for her. CARDIOSPHERE (1) has been around the mark and has been freshened. Has pieces of form that would see him in the finish, and he's capable of racing handy. PRIMROSE BOY (3) can show more second-up but minor claims at best. UP THE CUPS (5) is a debutant, and keep an eye on the betting with him. SUGGESTED PLAY: Can'T Catch Chilli to win.
