Expecting Kenroku Charmant to take up the running with Kakushin and Hiya close at hand. KENROKU CHARMANT (3) is racing well, scoring two back at this track before finishing 0.8 lengths from the winner in second last time over 1400m at this track. Yuma Shibata who has scored on him six times retains the mount. Fitter and looks sure to play a big role. KAKUSHIN (1) displayed plenty of early toe over 1400m at this track last time and defied all challengers to score by half a length. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he deserves plenty of thought. MEISHO GORUSHI (6) did very well to fill a minor placing when resuming at this track but raced below expectations last time over 1500m at this track, finishing eighth and beaten 5.5 lengths. Worth noting Tatsuya Nakajima goes aboard. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. POD BULLET (4) was beaten 2.5 lengths into fourth at the second run back from a break in a 1500m contest at this track last time out. Nicely placed to find some form.
