Strips fitter and can find winning ways. BRONTES (6) returned from a spell three weeks ago when he was beaten 10 lengths into tenth over 1400m at this track. Strips fitter and can play a major role. STAR OF LONDON (11) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 4.5 lengths away in fourth last time out over 1400m at this track. Nicely placed to take this out. POD RIPPLE (16) was too good for a maiden field last start over 1400m at this track, scoring by 1.3 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Harder task ahead this time but can measure up.
