Expecting a strong pace headed by Taro, Nishino Morimichi and Baru. MIKKI THOUSAND (15) turned in a good effort on debut four-and-a-half months ago when 1.5 lengths away in second at Tokyo Dirt over 1600m. Has not been to the races since that outing. Should prove tough to beat again. ARDE KINGDOM (6) was popular in betting last time out but disappointed in finishing sixth over 1400m at Hanshin Dirt, beaten 5 lengths after he was well back on straightening. This offers him a great chance of breaking through. NISHINO MORIMICHI (2) made progress last time out, finishing 6 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 1800m at this track after being prominent at the bend. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. ICE AND SNOW (7) is back after a break of three months. At the last run before the layoff he finished eighth over 2000m at Nakayama. Good effort to launch last prep when in the money at Nakayama over 2000m. Can kick off with a bold showing.
