Libby Ann and Fire Type have enough pace to take up the running from their wide draws. EISMOND (7) is very interesting here, a 14 start maiden in Japan who has made her way to the Andrew Bobbin yard. She's gone close with 9 minor placings and the ratings say she measures up to a Terang maiden if right to go. BELLE FLAMME (10) is ticking along nicely, stepping up to 1600m last start at Bendigo and finding the line well to be beaten half a length. She should appreciate 1850m here and will take holding out. FIRE TYPE (4) has placed in his past couple, battling on well for second at Ararat as favourite last time. He'll roll forward from out wide and take plenty of running down. IRON LEGACY (6) is a gelding by Fierce Impact for the Hayes yard who kicks off here from a good draw, respecting. HONEYJOY (8) ran okay fresh and can strip fitter up in trip. SUGGESTED PLAY: Eismond on top.
